Have you ever heard the phrase, “Ignorance on fire is better than knowledge on ice?”
You have if you have ever been involved in an organization that taught that you didn't need to know about the product or service in order to build interest. You can only imagine watching a football game where both teams failed to prepare for the game. Business is no different, but some in leadership positions believe that preparation is not necessary to succeed. Their philosophy basically calls for action before you know anything. Perhaps that is why organizations like network marketing companies have extremely high turnover and people tend to run when they hear you coming. Would you build a house before you knew what it would look like? Would you start a new business without knowing your products and who the market is? I subscribe to the philosophy that nothing is good without action, but knowledge in action leads to power. Sol says… “Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes.” ~ Proverbs 19:2 As a good leader, you know that sending out someone to share goods or services without knowledge damages the person and the brand. Make it a great day and keep being awesome.
